we bought this hoping to have it last as our kids grew up, but this was not the case. we bought the camera in late 2007. it was good for a little over a year and then about three months ago, the camera has had three different things go wrong within weeks of each other. the camera first lost the ability to record sound for video. next when opening the camera to take a picture the screen would appear upside-down sometimes and right-side up others. finally, the camera has gone black when opening the screen to take a picture or shoot video. after calling sanyo's repair people, i was told to send a 25 dollar check for initial diagnostics and shipping. i was told that on top of that the minimum price for labor would be 96-110 dollars plus any parts necessary to fix the camera. as you can see, this is adding up to the cost of - a new camera. we will never buy a sanyo product again.Get more detail about Sanyo Xacti VPC-E2 Digital Camcorder and 8 MP Digital Camera (Blue).

We have a Sanyo Xacti camera which has been great for 2 years. But now the picture has flipped upside down and we don't know how to get it the right away again, and the picture remains upside down irrespective of how you hold the camera.
