This is a great camera, with both an upside and downside to being small. Upside: it takes great still photos, although the shutter lag is REALLY long - the video, though not HD, is high quality (the 30 fps mode looks as good as the 60 fps to me). The downside is that, being small, you can get a lot of shake in the video, and the battery so far has been good for only about 20 minutes of shooting. If you purchase one of these, buy a couple of extra batteries ( ~ $10 each on Amazon) for backup. Haven't tested the camera's waterproof qualities yet, but the manufacturer says it's good for at least an hour up to 5 feet down. Get more detail about Sanyo Xacti VPC-E2 Digital Camcorder and 8 MP Digital Camera (Blue).
