I got the Xacti VPC-E2 when our old mini-DV camera stopped working. The Xacti is very easy to use and the picture quality is better than that of our old camera. It's so small that we take it everywhere. I like the waterproof feature because we can use it outside even in the snow or rain. I would recommend purchasing an extra battery because the one that comes with it lasts only about an hour. I like how easy it is to transfer the files to our computer. I downloaded a free MP4 player from the internet and now I can just click on the files to play them.
