This is a good little camera for the price. The picture quality is fair on video and pretty decent for stills. I like it's compact size and the ability to take stills and video easily with one unit. The controls are a bit awkward in your hand, but do-able. I bought this for a trip to Disney and it was super easy to tote around and use. I can't attest to it's longevity as I've only had it for about a month. I bought a 16gb card that held a weeks worth of video and stills with room to spare. The battery life is not bad. By the end of the day it was exhausted though. Save your video review for when the action is over. With a bit more practice I think I could improve some of that video quality by simply shooting in the appropriate mode. I shot almost solely in Auto without thinking.
